Celtic, American, Swedish, and English folk (Martin Simpson, William Coulter, Olov Johannesson), and cellist in Indian classical groups such as the Anoushka Shankar Project.
Barry studied music at the San Francisco Conservatory of music, and then as a student of Ravi Shankar.
